Oh man, you know how it is. You’re just chilling, maybe sipping some coffee, flipping through the news, and BAM! Another article about hockey, another dude mansplaining the offsides rule to someone who actually -plays- the game. Seriously, it’s enough to make you throw your remote at the TV, or in my case, reach for the sewing machine. I remember reading one time about a women’s team that was actually dominating, and the commentators still wouldn’t shut up about basic stuff. That’s what sparked this whole thing. It’s like, “Okay, fellas, let’s flip the script, shall we?” It’s a bit of a rebellious statement, yeah, but also kind of… freeing.
